Uploading Mobile Components 

In the SAP MI Web Console you see all the mobile components for which a Mobile Component Descriptor (MCD) was created. The MCD describes the properties of an application, framework, or add-on that is to be used as a mobile component in SAP MI.

Usually the developer of the mobile component also creates the MCD. It is shipped together with the installation file. If there is no corresponding MCD, you as a customer or consultant can also create it (see Mobile Component Descriptor).

If the corresponding MCD for the mobile component exists, you must upload the files for the mobile component that you want to deploy to the mobile devices. Take the information for the various types of mobile component into consideration:

·        Uploading Framework Files

·        Uploading Databases

·        Uploading Mobile Applications

·        Uploading Add-On Files

·        Uploading Driver Files
