Definition

Connection spaces define which info object classes are interconnected and by which relationship classes. Relationships are directional dependencies; that is there is a source and a target class.

A connection space represents the relationships between the info object classes of a document area.

Example of Connection Spaces

In the example in the graphic above, the source class KWT_FOLDER is linked to the target class KWT_LDOC via two different relationship classes: KW_FLDINCL and KW_FLDLINK.

The source class KWT_P_DOC references itself as a target class via the relationship class EXPORTMODL. (A target class PHIO can in turn be the source class for other PHIOs.)

The relationship class LOGOBJECT shows that PHIOs in the target class KWT_L_DOC are connected to the source classes KWT_P_KL1, KWT_P_KL2 and KWT_P_DOC.
