Enabling / Disabling the Application Sharing
Server (RTC) 
The RTC Application Sharing Server is installed and activated by default when the SAP Collaboration component is installed.
If you are not using the application sharing functionality, we recommend disabling the Application Sharing Server.

1. Open the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator on the machine hosting the Application Sharing Server installation.

If the Application Sharing Server is installed in a clustered environment, you can open the Visual Administrator on any server instance.
2. In the left pane of the Visual Administrator, click the Cluster tab.
3. On the Cluster tab, select the Server node.
4. Select Services and then select Deploy.
5. In the right pane of the Visual Administrator, click the Runtime tab.
6. At the bottom of the Runtime tab, choose the Application radio button.
7. In the Displayed Components list, select the following component: sap.com/com.sap.netweaver.coll.appl.rtc.streamsrv
8. Do one of the following:
¡ To enable the Application Sharing Server:
...
i. Click the Start Application button.
ii. In the Start Application window, the server IDs of all instances and nodes currently stopped are displayed. Verify that the Include check box for each of the desired server instances or nodes is selected, and then click OK to confirm the command to start the respective applications.
¡ To disable the Application Sharing Server:
...
i. Click the Stop Application button.
ii. In the Stop Application window, the server IDs of all instances and nodes currently running are displayed. Verify that the Include check box for each of the desired server instances or nodes is selected, and then click OK to confirm the command to stop the respective applications.
