Hiding the SAP Standard Templates 

Use

You can hide SAP standard templates (templates for rooms and room parts whose technical name starts with SAP). Depending on the setting, the hidden templates are no longer available in the following places:

·        In the selection list of room templates (when creating a room)

·        In the selection list of room part templates (when adding a room part to a room)

·        In the template filter (in the room directory)

Prerequisites

You have created company-specific copies of the SAP standard templates and want to ensure that the SAP standard templates cannot be used operatively.

       1.      In the portal, choose System Administration ® System Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Collaboration.

       2.      Switch on the advanced options. To do this, choose the Show Advanced Options link or the menu path Mode ® Advanced.

       3.      Choose Room and Room Part Templates.

       4.      Activate the required options to hide the templates:

Option	Description
Hide room part templates delivered by SAP	In the selection list for the room part templates, the system hides all room part templates whose technical name starts with SAP.
Hide room templates delivered by SAP	In the selection list for the room templates, the system hides all room templates whose technical name starts with SAP.
Hide room templates delivered by SAP in the room directory	In the template filter for the room directory, the system hides all room templates whose technical name starts with SAP.
