Changing the Startup Mode for the SSL Provider 

Use

Use the Configuration Adapter in the Visual Administrator to change the startup mode for the SSL Provider. Adjust the mode for both the dispatcher and each server.

Procedure

Using the Visual Administrator:

...

       1.      Choose Server  ® Services  ® Configuration Adapter.

       2.      Expand Configurations  ® cluster_data  ® <dispatcher/server>  ® cfg  ® services.

       3.      Switch to edit mode (Choose .) Confirm with Yes.

       4.      Select Propertysheet ssl-runtime and choose the symbol for Show the details of the selected node ().

       5.      In the Change Configuration dialog, select start-up mode.

The Change property entry dialog appears.

       6.      In the Custom field, enter the value alwaysand choose Apply custom.

You return to the Change Configuration dialog.

       7.      Choose OK.

Specify the option for both the J2EE dispatcher and the server(s).

Result

The next time the J2EE dispatcher or server is started, the SSL Provider service will also be automatically started.
