Procedure documentation Creating SyncBOs Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Procedure

...

       1.      Start transaction merep_sbuilder.

       2.      Enter a SyncBO ID.

       3.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Create.

       4.      In the dialog box, select a synchronization type.

       5.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Continue.

       6.      In the dialog box, select SyncBO Specific and enter an RFC destination for this SyncBO, or leave it at the default destination. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Continue.

       7.      In the Descriptionfield, enter a description for the SyncBO ID.

       8.      Enter a name in the BAPI Wrapper section in the GetList field.

Note

If the synchronization type is Timed 2-Way (T01), and you do not want the maximum volume of replicable data to be restricted, enter the name of the newly created GetList BAPI wrapper.

       9.      Repeat step 8 for all BAPI wrapper fields to be defined.

   10.      Select Check the Types if you are working in a development or quality environment. If you are working in a production environment, for performance reasons, we recommend that you do not select this option.

Note

If you do not want the maximum volume of replicable data to be restricted, and you have created a new GetList BAPI wrapper for this, select Mass Data. This option is only available for synchronization type T01.

   11.      Choose Goto ® Mapping Screen.

   12.      Go to the SyncBO Builder:Mapping Setting screen by double-clicking on one of the red texts Import or Tables under the BAPI wrapper name.

   13.      Define the SyncBO data model in the mapping screen.

If the SyncBO is of type Timed 2-Way(T01) or Back-end Driven (T51) and designed to support multiple languages, in the Language Item column, map the language dependent fields of the target structure item to the structure that holds the language data.    14.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Save.
