The Application Snapshot screen displays the following performance data for every DB2 application, that is, for every SAP work process. The information displayed helps you to determine which work processes are placing the highest load on the database:

·        User

·        Application Handle

·        Agent PID

·        Application Name

·        Application PID

·        Application Host Name

·        Application Status

·        Buffer Quality (%)

·        Data Logical Reads

·        Index Logical Reads

·        Temporary Index Logical Reads

·        Temporary Index Physical Reads

You can access the Application Snapshot screen by calling the DBA Cockpit and choosing Performance ® Applications in the navigation frame of the DBA Cockpit.

You can display more detailed information by selecting one or more applications and choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details. A detail Application Snapshot screen appears with information on:

·        Applications

·        Agents

·        Buffer Pool

·        Direct I/O

·        Extended Storage

·        Locks and Deadlocks

·        Calls

·        Sorts

·        Cache

·        Unit of Work

·        Statement

·        Statement Text
