For large installations with several SAP
Web AS instances, you can use the
SAP Web
Dispatcher, to have a defined access point for your system and to
implement load balancing.
You
want to use the SAP Web AS for Java applications in productive operation. The

For large installations with several SAP Web AS instances, you can set up an intermediary server as a defined access point as described in Using an Intermediary Server to Connect to the J2EE Engine.
