Initializing Positions by Due Date
Technical Name: 0CML_INIT_DFAELL
This InfoSource is based on the DataSource 0CML_INIT_BUDAT (Position Initialization by Posting Date).
You use this InfoSource to generate a position on the due date. The system writes the positions to the corresponding data targets (InfoCubes) straight away.
In addition to the position differentiating characteristics, such as the position value date and the due date status, the local currency, position currency, nominal currency and profit/loss currency are loaded as relating units.
The InfoSource uses the company code or a list of company codes as selection criteria.
The positions are determined on the position initial date defined in table BWFS_SETTINGS_OI. The corresponding DataSource for the InfoSource only supports the company code as selection criterion. Only one position initial date is permitted for all of the selections, in other words, all of the company codes have the same position initial date.
When generating the positions, the system only considers the flows that have a posting date that is before or is the same as the position initial date.
You can set the parameters for the position generation at company code level.
A time stamp is not updated during the position initialization.
If you have initialized a data
target on a date, you must use the update rules to ensure that no postings can
be made in the position. This is
particularly important during the initial filling with delta flows from the
delta ODS.
