You can maintain maintenance dialogs in two ways:

This is the recommended procedure. The system offers standard situations for selection and performs the required generation steps, so you need no detailed system knowledge and can be sure that all required steps are performed.

This mode requires detailed knowledge of the generation procedure. It is intended for situations that are not covered by the standard. You must choose the generation steps yourself. There is a risk of unintentionally deleting maintenance modules or performing the generation only incompletely. This procedure is therefore not recommended.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Enter the name of the table or view.
  2. Choose Generated objects.
  3. Choose Create/Change. You go to the generated objects maintenance screen.
  4. Choose Change. A screen of reasons for changes appears.
  5. Select option(s) and choose Continue.

    6. Note

    To use expert mode, choose Expert instead of selecting options. Enter the components you want to maintain in the next window.

  6. Make the appropriate entries in the dialog box and choose Continue.
