Configuring Top N Parameters 
Use this screen to configure the parameters specific to the Top N template. See Top N (OLAP) for the description, business question, and workflow for using this template.

1. In the Define Query Ranks and Values section of the screen, choose and define rank types according to the values in the table below:

Numeric value indicates count (for example, 5 specifies Top 5). |

Numeric value indicates count (for example, 5 specifies Bottom 5). |
Percent |
Numeric value indicates percentage (for example, 10 specifies Bottom 10%). |

You can configure a query to calculate both top and bottom ranks, and the rank type (count or percent) can differ between the two.
2. In the Define Members section of the screen, select the level that contains the members you want to see in the query’s result, and the measure to use for the Top N calculation, using the parameters in the table below:

Select the level that contains the members you want to see in the query’s result. |

Lists all measures in the cube on which the query is based. |
Select the measure to use for the Top N calculation. |
3. Click Next.
You proceed to the Define Filters screen.
