This section contains an overview of the functions available in the Ad-hoc Query Designer.

Prerequisites

To create queries on the Web using the Ad-hoc Query Designer, you have to create a Web application with the Ad-hoc Query Designer Web item.

Create new queries using the wizard

Ad-hoc Query Designer: Defining New Queries with the Wizard

Open existing queries

Select an existing query from your history, favorites or roles or from the complete list under InfoAreas and choose Transfer. The query is displayed in the ad-hoc query designer. You can then change the query.
