Changing System Settings 

Use

You can change system settings (for example, change application servers, add or delete background jobs) with this procedure after you have started the services for creating display formats.

 

Procedure

To change system settings after starting the export services, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Start Transaction SI88.

       2.      Stop the scheduler job.

       3.      Wait until the running analysis and export jobs are completed.

       4.      Stop the analysis and export jobs.

       5.      Choose Settings ®  System in screen SAP Knowledge Warehouse: HTML Export.

The System Settings dialog box appears.

       6.      Choose Change display.

You can make entries in the fields.

       7.      Change the system settings.

       8.      Save the changes.

       9.      Start the jobs in the following order:

...

                            a.      Analysis

                            b.      Export

                            c.      Scheduler

 

Result

The system settings were changed. The export services are ready again.
