Problem Description

Offline deploy hangs during deployment or undeployment. This can happen during installation, the upgrade procedure or during single deployment/undeployment with SDM.

Noticing the problem:

     During an SAPInst installation or a J2EE Engine upgrade, the procedure hangs on the offline deploy step.

     SDM hangs.

The DB data or log volumes are full (over 95% is used).

       1.      Open the Web DBM (http://<db_host>:9999/webdbm?Database=<db_name_SID>&User=control)

Solution

You should create an additional data or log volumes.

       1.      Go to the Configuration section on the right-side menu and select Volumes.

       2.      Select Add Data Volume. Enter the new volume settings and select OK.

       3.      The new volume is now present in the data volumes list.
