Graphical Workflow Log
The workflow log enables you to format all the information that is generated or collected during the execution of one active business process in one central location, according to your requirements.
In addition to the graphical view, you can display the workflow log in the following views:
· Workflow Log: Technical View
The graphical workflow log adds to the textual information. The workflow definition is also displayed as a graphic, whereby only those steps that are also displayed in the standard view of the workflow log are displayed.
Not in workflow log
The indicator Not in workflow log is evaluated for the steps and the individual outcomes of the steps. Steps for which this indicator is set are not displayed, as is the case in the standard workflow log. If the indicator is set for an outcome, the entire subsequent branch is not displayed in the graphical workflow log. The whole step block is hidden. If you set the indicator for a fork, the steps within the fork are not displayed.
Workflow log visualization
For the step types activity and user decision, the indicator Not in Workflow Log is replaced by the option Workflow Log Visualization. You can select the following options:
· In all workflow logs
· Only in the technical workflow log
· Condition ‘Complete work item’ true: Not in graphical log
For the option Condition ‘Complete Work item’ true: Not in graphical log, the step appears in the standard workflow log but not in the graphical workflow log.
Structure of the graphical workflow log
The graphical workflow log shows the actual process flow of workflow execution by a green line. The status is displayed for all steps for which a work item already exists. The actual agent is displayed for completed steps.
The screen of the graphical workflow log is split into the workflow area (left) and the overview area (right). If a review workflow can be started for the workflow, an additional review area (left) exists from which the review workflow can be started and in which all the review workflows are listed. For more information, see Review Workflow.
