Diagnosis and Monitoring Tools
Use transaction SITSPMON to get a status summary of the integrated ITS. The information displayed here includes the current status of the integrated ITS, the version of the feature set and the settings for the itsp/* profile parameters. You can change the parameters itsp/Traces/* and itsp/memory_checkdirectly after executing the program SITSPMON by choosing Change Parameters. Choose Goto ® Call Transaction RZ11 (F8) to switch to RZ11; if one of the parameters has been focused in SITSPMON, then the RZ11 settings of this parameter are called directly.
SITSPMON also provides information on the memory required by the integrated ITS and on the lock status of the work process (choose Resources) for the application server, to which you are currently logged on. The memory required is divided into Malloc Mem. (work process memory used by the integrated ITS) and Shared (EG) (specifies the percentage of this work process in reference to the global memory). The unit of these values is bytes.
For more information on how to use this function, refer to Status Monitor for the Integrated ITS Function.
The integrated ITS uses the standard developer trace files of the respective work process (dev_w*.trc, access via transaction ST11) for its trace output. As the trace component, W is used. To activate ITS tracing, start program rstrc000, set the Trace Level to an appropriate value (2 or 3), choose WebGui and save your changes. Then reproduce the problem you want to trace, return to rstrc000, reset the default value, save, and use Display to display the trace file.
Error messages are written into the system log (syslog) of the respective SAP application server, which you can display using transaction SM21.
