Partner Content 

Purpose

Content delivered by consultancy partners of SAP Business Warehouse to their customers is referred to as partner content.

The concept and technical conversion of customer and partner content are largely similar. If you need information on partner content, you can find it in the documentation on Customer Content.

This topic and the subsequent sections only offer a summary of the features in which partner content and customer content differ.

Features

Partner content extends to the following areas:

·        The development of the system landscape (see System Landscape).

·        The development of partner-specific contents by partners

·        The delivery of SAP Business Content and partner content by partners, to their customers.

Restrictions

SAP Business Content

Although you are able to use Business Content delivered by SAP, you are not able to change it.

Namespace for the Development of BW Objects

·        You must use your own namespace (see Using Namespaces for the Development of BW Objects ).

·        Also note the Features for Transporting Roles. We recommend the following schema for assigning namespaces: Delivery namespace /ABC/  ® Customer Namespace /ABC/C_. This corresponds to the SAP namespace for roles (delivery namespace SAP_BW_  ® Customer Namespace SAP_BWC_). However, you cannot create roles that start with the letter “C_”.
