Providing Templates for Rooms 
Use
Templates for room and room parts contain default settings and specifications that simplify creating rooms and adding room parts to rooms.
You can make available templates for rooms and room parts as follows:
● By using the standard templates that SAP delivers.
● By modifying duplicates of the SAP standard templates to meet your company-specific requirements.
● By creating new company-specific templates.

1. Determine the structure of rooms and room parts created on the basis of the template in the worksets of the Portal Content Directories (Portal content).

2. Optional: Create predefined content (in the form of KM content) that the system includes when creating rooms or room parts from the template.

3. Define attributes and settings for the template (Collaboration content).
These include information such as name, description, room roles, extensions for defining the data store, parameter assignments, and so on.
