Background documentation The DBA Log (DB2 UDB for UNIX and Windows) Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

The DBA log provides information on protocol records written by all database-related programs of the CCMS and SAP-DB2 admin tools.

You can access the DBA log by calling the DBA Cockpit and choosing Jobs ® DBA Log in the navigation frame of the DBA Cockpit.

The following information is displayed:

When you access the DBA log for the first time, the system displays log information for the current week.

If you want to display information on previous weeks, double-click a day in the corresponding week in the calendar control.

If you only want to display certain log records, choose one of the following icons:

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Total

Total number of all log records

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Errors

Displays jobs that finished with an error. These jobs should be executed again.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Warnings

Displays jobs that finished with a warning.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text OK

Displays log records of jobs that were completed without errors.
