Use

You use empties groups to group individual empties materials together. Empties groups are useful, among other things, for minimizing the empties block on invoices/delivery notes: the invoices/delivery notes no longer list the individual materials, but instead the cumulated balance by empties group. Materials that are not assigned to a group are identified by material.

You define empties groups in Customizing, under Sales and Distribution à Sales à Empties Management.
