Logging On to the Visual Administrator 

Use

To be able to administer a Java cluster with the Visual Administrator, you must log on with a user name and password, and connect to the cluster with the host name and port.

 

Prerequisites

You have administrator rights for this Java cluster and know the password, host name, and port number.

Procedure

Start the Visual Administrator (<Directory of the J2EE Installation>\JC<inst. no.>j2ee\admin\go.bat).

Default login:

Name: Administrator

Password: SAP

Host: localhost

Port: 50004

 

Choose Connect.

Result

You have logged on to the Visual Administrator and connected to the Java cluster.
