Function documentation Consistency Checks Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

These checks check info objects for database inconsistencies and errors. You choose the context, area and folders of the info objects to be checked.

Prerequisites

You are in the initial folder management screen.

You have administrator profile SAP_KW_ADMINISTRATOR.

Functionality

The following checks exist:

Links

This check finds info objects in the selected folders with links:

Use this check to find out if there are links in the information objects of the selected folder whose target information objects are not released.

Note

Only start this check at the end of development.

Use this check to find whether the information objects of the selected folder have hyperlinks

Use this check to find out if there are graphics in the information objects of the selected folder that are unknown in the Knowledge Warehouse (e.g. Visio graphics).

This check determines whether the target objects of the hyperlinks are in the selected folders.

There is also a check whether the target object exists in the current context.

Use this check if only a subset of the folders (e.g. all the folders of an application component) are to be delivered.

Attributes

This check determines whether the structure object of the selected folder has the attribute "IWB SHH KEY".

This check determines whether the person responsible/checkout user of the selected folder exists in the R/3 System.

This check determines whether the selected folders contain objects that only have a title.

Access

This check finds out whether the info objects in the selected folders exist in the desired language. It searches in all r eleases before the current one.

Consistency of Info Objects

This checks whether the source object exists for a display object and whether it has a unique relationship.

This checks whether the display object exists for a source object and whether it has a unique relationship.

Checks whether the management data agrees with the Content Server data.

Structures

Checks whether the number of objects in the structures in the selected folder exceeds the recommended upper limit (500).

This check determines whether the title document in the selected folder only has a title.

 

The checks are made in the background. You can thus continue with your work while the checks are being made.

Activities

The info objects with defective links are listed.

You can go to the info object maintenance screen from the detailed check results list to correct the errors.
