Making Discussions Available 
A discussion allows users to use postings to exchange thoughts and information. In the portal, you can make available various types of discussions.
● Make available discussions for documents and folders.
This type of discussion is available in the Details dialog box for documents and on the portal homepage. Within a discussion, you can group the posts by topic.

● Make available discussion groups for discussions.
This type of discussion can be integrated in rooms as room parts. As an administrator, you can also make discussion groups available outside of rooms. Discussion groups are used to classify discussions. A discussion consists of an initial post and the associated structure of replies.

● Control the properties of the discussions using the configuration of the corresponding discussion services.
