Customizing
Customizing enables you to adapt the enterprise-neutral and industry-specific functions, delivered as standard, to the specific business requirements of your enterprise.
It supports you whenever you:
· Implement the SAP System
· Enhance the SAP System
· Upgrade to a new release or system.
Customizing controls the behavior of SAP applications. You can only work with many SAP applications after you have made the appropriate Customizing settings – for example, after specifying in Customizing which currencies and purchasing groups are used in your enterprise.
To transport your Customizing settings to other systems, such as your test system, you need to use the transport system.
