Use

You can use the Visual Administrator tool to access and manage services, interfaces, libraries, and managers, either on the server or dispatcher element, or on the entire cluster.

Procedures

Choose what you want to configure first – you can access and manage the global configuration of the entire cluster, or manage just a server or a dispatcher configuration.

Note

The global configuration is overwritten by the local configuration of the server or dispatcher element. If you want to change this configuration, you have to confirm it explicitly.

Caution

When you change the value of a property that requires the J2EE Engine to be restarted and then you save your changes, the Visual Administrator will display the old value that is in use by the J2EE Engine. If you continue configuring the J2EE Engine without restarting it first, any subsequent change and save operation will delete your previous changes and will preserve only the current values displayed in the Visual Administrator.
