Displaying the “Last Changed By”
User in SMQR and SMQS
In transactions SMQR (QIN Scheduler) and SMQS (QOUT Scheduler), you can double click on the type of an entry to display the user who last changed the entry. This facilitates error analysis
You use this transaction to display the status of the QIN Scheduler, and register or deregister a queue or destination.
The scheduler can have the following statuses:
BATCHJOB SCHEDULED |
The scheduler has scheduled a background job. |
ACTIVE |
The scheduler is active. |
INACTIVE |
The scheduler is not active. |
WAITING |
The scheduler is waiting for free work processes. |
SYSFAIL |
System failure: The scheduler is not functioning correctly. |
CPICERR |
Communication failure: The scheduler is not functioning correctly. |
If the scheduler is active, the status is updated every two minutes. Every change of status automatically causes an update, to show that the scheduler is active.
In a normal situation, the QIN Scheduler processes all the registered queues using all the application servers of the local SAP system (the AS group DEFAULT). You can, however, also determine which group of these application servers is used. You can either specify a group in SM59 by choosing RFC à RFC Groups, or directly using RZ12. You can also specify this group in transaction SMQR by choosing Edit à Change AS Group.
