Development Toolkit 
Purpose
The Development Toolkit helps mobile application developers to define Smart Synchronization data models that are used between the mobile applications on the mobile device and the back-end systems.
The defined data model can be downloaded as an XML metadata file and then used by the mobile application on the device. Applications must be developed on the SAP MI Client Component based on this metadata file.
The SAP MI framework handles delta data management in the SAP MI Client Component and data synchronization with the SAP MI Server Component. No special programs need to be written.
