Meeting Room Template
The meeting room template is the room template that SAP delivers for creating meeting rooms in the portal. The meeting room template supports all room types.
Compared to the other standard templates for rooms, the meeting room template contains the following special features:
· Specific iViews in addition to generic iViews (see the iView overview below)
· Preassignment of links and meeting templates
The corresponding initial content is copied from the CM folders to the meeting room by means of an extension. See Extension Content Templates in Configuration of the Room Infrastructure. In the Meeting Room Links and Meeting Room Templates configuration instances, access paths to the corresponding CM folders are specified.

Save your initial content for links and meeting templates only in folders with the predefined access path.

The room owner can make room-specific changes or enhancements to the meeting templates that were copied to the room. The system copies the room-specific meeting templates for each new meeting to the meeting materials.
· iView-related permissions
The specific iViews (Next Meeting, Online Tools, and Public Information) provide properties, through which you can control the access permission for room roles.

If you change the room roles in the template, you must also change the corresponding iView properties.
· Optional groupware connection
You can use the relevant property in the Next Meeting iView to turn on and off the use of groupware functions (e-mail, calendar integration) in the meeting room.
For more information about the prerequisite for using groupware functions in meeting rooms, see Configuring the Groupware framework.
· Use of services for real-time collaboration (instant messaging, application sharing)
For more information about the prerequisites, see Configuration of the Masthead for Collaboration, Configuration of the Synchronous Collaboration Framework, and Configuration of Real-Time Collaboration.
The workset for the meeting room template contains three pages, for which the access permissions are defined as follows:
