Initial Configuration Tasks
This topic lists important portal platform-specific tasks you may need to perform to configure SAP NetWeaver Portal for optimal use. Some tasks are mandatory, while others are recommended and optional.

§ This list does not cover all possible post-installation tasks for the portal platform. You are still required to read the documentation that is relevant to your area of responsibility.

The following table lists the post-installation tasks for the portal platform, their relevancy, and a reference to where you can find detailed information for performing the task. There is no specific order in which you should perform the tasks.
