Use

As of SPS 19, an optimized procedure for storing application-specific properties (application properties) for feedback items, comments, and personal notes is used in database tables. You have to use a technically enhanced report to optimize existing database tables in line with the changed procedure. You do this only once, following the installation of SPS 19.

 

Effects on Existing Data

The report reduces the memory space required in the database by the tables in which the application-specific properties for feedback items, comments, and personal notes are stored.

 

Effects on System Administration

You have to execute this report once following the installation of SPS 19.

You can find the report in the portal at Content Administration ® KM Content ® Toolbox ® Reports ® Consistency Checks ® Collaboration Consistency Check. Select the Recalculate the Collaboration Item Count parameter and then start the report.

The runtime of the report depends on the number of resources for which feedback items, comments, or personal notes exist.

 

Tables in the database are optimized when you run the report. While you are running the report, you may not create feedback items, comments, or personal notes for resources. However, you can navigate as normal.

 

You can use Knowledge Management as normal after executing the report.
