Use

You can use the light room directory in addition to the standard room directory to display your own rooms in the portal in a high-performance and simple manner.

Technical Features

The light room directory is a static HTML page that the system stores in the userhome directory of the KM repository in the form of a hidden file. The light room directory is only updated when you rebuild the HTML page or change the member status of users. Using the light room directory reduces the load on the TREX server.

Configuration

To make the light room directory available for users, activate the relevant configuration object across the system. The standard room directory iView also has two new properties that allow you to do the following:

●      Show the light room directory in place of the standard room directory (if activated across the system)

●      Allow users to switch the light room directory on and off individually
