Function documentation Deletion of Obsolete Mobile IDs Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the following cases you might want to delete mobile IDs that are no longer needed:

If you were using an older version of MI: When an application is deleted form the client, the mobile ID generated for this version of the application will still exist on the server and can cause performance problems during synchonization.

After a mobile device crashed, the mobile ID for the user on this device will still exist. You can define the mobile IDs to be deleted based on the date of the last synchronization.

In both cases, you can remove the obsolete mobile ID from the server using transaction MEREP_MBL.

Activities

Using transaction MEREP_MBL, you can either remove all obsolete mobile IDs for applications, or mobile IDs that haven’t synchronized since a defined date. The system will display all relevant mobile IDs, and you can select the mobile IDs you want to delete.
