Enabling the Use of the Expert Tool 

Use

You can use the expert tool for a particular device to display the errors that have occurred on this device. To be able to use the expert tool, you must enter the relevant function modules in the table MEMGM_MNTR_FM.

Procedure

...

       1.      Start transaction SE16.

       2.      Enter MEMGMT_MNTR_FM as the table name and choose Table  ® Create Entries.

       3.      Add the following entries:

Function Module	Transaction Code
MEMGMT_GET_DEVICE_ALERTS	MI_ALMON
MEMGMT_GET_DEVICE_LOGS	MI_CLOGMON
MEMGMT_GET_DEVSMARTSYNC_ERRORS	MEREP_MON

       4.      Save your entries.

       5.      Check if the function module MEREP_GET_LOG_PER_MBLID is available and activated.
