Checking Client Configuration
Files 
You can check the configuration files in the Mobile Administrator in which you determine the configuration of the client on the mobile device.
The following files are regularly downloaded from the mobile device to the server.
● MobileEngine.config with the general configuration parameters
● <user>.uconfig with the user-specific configuration parameters
● listOfJars.txt
● creme_listOfJars.txt (PDA only)
● MobileEngine.lnk (PDA only)
● startup.bat (Win32 only)
You can determine how often the files are updated and how many versions of the files are stored on the server (see Configuring Downloads of Configuration Files).
You have started the Mobile Administrator.
The service user
for administration is assigned the RFC authorization ME_CONFIG_INFO as
described in
Creating Service
Users.

1. Change to the function Device Maintenance.
2. Specify the search criteria. You can use * as a wildcard.
For example, you can search for devices of a particular user or show only those devices where errors have occurred.
3. Start the search.
The devices are displayed with their status.
4. Select the device whose configuration files you want to check.
5. Switch to the Configuration Files tab page.You can:
○ Determine that the current configuration files are to be downloaded from the mobile device to the server the next time the mobile device is synchronized.
○ Select a file and save it locally.
