Purpose

The Control Center User role (cc_user) contains default content, some of which needs to be configured before you can work with this role in runtime.

This topic lists these configuration tasks and provides links to the various procedures.

 

Prerequisites

You have assigned the Everyone group to the Control Center User and Every User Core (eu_core_role) roles, and have removed the group from the Standard User role (eu_role).

 

Process Flow

The following tables list the objects that you need to configure in each workset provided with the Control Center User role. The configuration procedures for each object are listed together with references to the detailed procedures for performing each configuration task.

Overview Workset

Configure the following objects in the Overview workset:

Top News iView

       1.      Create a KM folder and name it TopNews.

       2.      Open the TopNews iView. In the Property Editor, set the following properties to /documents/TopNews:

       Path to Initially Displayed Folder

       Path to Root Folder for Navigation

Inbox iView

Configure the UWL for the Inbox iView as described in How to Configure the Universal Worklist available on SAP Developer Network at sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/howtoguides ® SAP NetWeaver 2004 ® Portal. Refer to the following sections:

      Registering the System with the UWL

      Registering System Item Types with the UWL

Public Portfolio iView

Configure the system for Information Broadcasting. See Configuration for Information Broadcasting and perform the following procedures:
