Monitoring the Synchronization
Process
The synchronization monitors can be used in the following ways:
● You can view the server queue for generic synchronization.
● You can trace a synchronization run and call up statistical data for synchronization to analyze, for example, poor system performance.
● You can monitor the Smart Synchronization replication runs.
● You can monitor how long it takes to process the individual SyncBOs.
● You have started the Mobile Administrator.
● The mobile device has been configured appropriately (see the prerequisites for the Generic Synchronization Queue Monitor, Technical Synchronization Monitor), the Smart Synchronization Replication Monitor) and the SyncBO Processing Statistics).
...
1. Switch to the Generic Sync Queue Monitorfunction.
2. Enter the ID of the user whose synchronization run you want to monitor, or select multiple users.
3. Choose the container status you want to display the data for or select all the status values. You can also define advanced search options (such as the device ID, container ID, and so on), if required.
4. Where necessary, adjust the display as required by selecting the advanced sort options.
...
1. Switch to the Technical Sync Monitor function.
The tab for the detailed data appears. If you want to display summarized data about the synchronization to analyze, for example, the system performance, switch to the tab with the statistical data.
2. Define the filters for the data you want to display (user ID, status value, send date). You can also define advanced search options (such as the date range and time), if required.
3. Display the detailed data about the synchronization process in the detailed data view. Where necessary, adjust the results list as required by selecting the advanced sort options.
...
1. Switch to the Smart Sync Replication Monitor function.
2. Define the filters for the data you want to display (SyncBO type, SyncBO name). If required, you can define advanced search options.
3. Display the replication runs for the different SyncBOs in the detail view. Where necessary, adjust the results list as required by selecting the advanced sort options.
You can also display the data graphically.
...
1. Start the transaction MEMON_CUST and specify the devices you want to monitor the processing time for. Save your entries.
2. Start the Mobile Administrator and switch to the function SyncBO Processing Statistics.
The tab for the detailed data appears.
3. Define the filters for the data you want to display (user, SyncBO ID, time period). If required, you can define advanced search options.
In the results list you can see the synchronization processes for all the SyncBOs that match the criteria set. Where necessary, adjust the results list as required by selecting the advanced sort options.
4. Display the detailed data for the SyncBOs in the detail view.
5. If you want to display an overview of the data for all synchronization processes, change to the tab with the statistical data.
