Technical Synchronization Monitor 

Use

With the technical synchronization monitor you can monitor the entire synchronization process from when the user initially triggers synchronization to the completion message on the client. The monitor also delivers statistical synchronization data. You can use this data to identify problems with the system performance, bandwidth, or data volume (see Monitoring the Synchronization Process).

Prerequisites

●     The synchronization monitors have been activated (see Activating Synchronization Monitors).

●     The report MEMON_TECH_AGGREGATION has been scheduled (see Reports for Scheduling Background Jobs).

●     The following parameters are set in the file MobileEngine.config (see Activating a Synchronization Service and Protocol):

MI.Sync.ProtocolVersion=251500

Integration

You call the technical synchronization monitor using the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator (function Technical Sync Monitor).

Features

The technical synchronization monitor data is available on the server for a defined period (at least two days). The data is then summarized and can be retrieved by day, week, or month.
