You can define a business system as a service in the Integration Directory.
This tool is also referred to as the business system wizard.
Proceed as follows:
1. You can call the integration process wizard as follows:
¡ In the navigation area, position the cursor on a Service (beneath a party) or Services Without Party node and in the context menu choose Assign Business System.
¡ In the navigation area, position the cursor on a Business System (beneath the Services Without Party node or beneath a party) and in the context menu choose Assign Business System.
Unlike a business service, you cannot define a business system service by using the Create New Object () dialog.
2. The business system wizard is called.
3. Choose Continue
In the subsequent step, you can assign the service to a communication party. You can also skip this step.
4. Choose Continue.
All business systems that have not yet been defined as services in the Integration Directory are displayed in the on the right-hand side.
5. Select a business system.
6. Choose Finish.
The business system is created as a service in the Integration Directory. The position of the cursor when the business system wizard is called determines where the name of the business system is entered in the navigation tree.
¡ Cursor positioned on the Services Without Party node: business system is not assigned to any communication party and is inserted in the navigation tree under Services Without Party.
¡ Cursor positioned on a Services node beneath a communication party: business system is assigned to this communication party and is inserted in the navigation tree under Services beneath this party.
To open the service, double click it. All the relevant information is displayed in the business system editor.
