Configuring the Groupware Framework 

Purpose

Perform the configuration steps described in the sections listed below to configure the Groupware framework in SAP Enterprise Portal as required.

 

Prerequisites

·        You have installed Groupware for SAP Enterprise Portal (as part of the Knowledge Management installation using SAPinst).

·        You have access to the System Configuration iView in your portal (by default, this iView is assigned to the System Administration role).

·        Installing and Configuring E-Mail Connectivity

·        Installing and Configuring Calendar Connectivity

¡        Installing and Configuring Microsoft Exchange Connectivity

¡        Installing and Configuring Lotus Domino Connectivity

 

 SAP currently ships only Microsoft Exchange Connectivity out-of-the-box. Lotus Domino integration is available only in the form of the iNotes Web client.

 

Result

You are now able to use the e-mailing and scheduling functions provided by Groupware in SAP Enterprise Portal.
