Selecting a Cube 

Use

Use this screen to select the cube upon which you wish to base your query.

 

Procedure

       1.      In the Available Cubes section, locate and select a cube.

This section lists the data service you chose on the Select a System screen as the root node of a tree, followed by any catalogs contained in that service. Expand the catalog that contains the cube you want, and click to select the cube.

If there is a description or properties associated with this cube, review them in the Description and Properties sections of the screen.

       2.      Click Next.

 

Result

You advance to a screen in which you configure parameters relevant for your template.

Since there are no parameters to configure in the Grand Totals template, after selecting a cube you proceed directly to the Preview Result screen.
