· SAP System Landscape Directory
The SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD)

landscape. It keeps information about all available products and the installed
system landscape up-to-date.
The SLD builds the foundation for the transition from single-system management
to system landscape management.
The Software Lifecycle Manger (SLM) guides you through the process of designing a required technical system landscape, including realizing new application systems, realizing new business scenarios, deploying application components, and updating support packages. The SLM is integrated with the SLD, it receives information from the SLD and stores information in the SLD.
· Administration of the XML Data Archiving Service
The XML Data Archiving Service (XML DAS) is one of the main components you need for XML-based data archiving and is used by both ABAP and JAVA applications. Before you can begin XML-based data archiving you must set up the different components involved and configure your systems. The XML DAS Administration is the main tool used in this process.
