SAP MI Web Console
In the SAP MI Web Console, the system administrator can manage and monitor mobile components, users, and mobile devices. The SAP MI Web Console runs on the SAP MI J2EE Server Component.
● Uploading New Mobile Components
A feature for uploading new mobile components is available. You upload mobile components before assigning them to a user.
● Control of Installation and De-Installation of Mobile Applications on the Mobile Device.
○ You can assign all users the mobile applications they need for their daily work (see Assigning Mobile Components and Device Configurations to a User).
○ You can remove a mobile application from the mobile device.
● Deployment of new versions of the mobile applications on the mobile device
You can assign a new version of a mobile application to a user (see Assigning a New Version of an Mobile Component to Users). You can use rules to control the deployment of new versions automatically.
● Monitoring of the mobile devices, users and applications
You can trace details of the mobile devices and the current status of the mobile applications on a mobile device (see Displaying the Status of an Mobile Component).
● Synchronization of a Data Carrier with the Back-End System
You can synchronize data from the mobile device that you stored on the diskette with the back end (see Synchronizing the Data Carrier with the Back End).
● Error logs to find and correct any problems
If an error occurs when an end user installs the SAP MI Client Component, you can display and analyze the installation logs in the SAP MI Web Console.
End users who encounter other errors can set different traces (see Setting the Trace for Error Correction ). You can display and analyze the trace logs in the SAP MI Web Console.

The times specified in the trace log are based on the UTC reference time.
Alternatively, you can also monitor traces and other data with the Computing Center Management System (CCMS) (see SAP MI in the Computing Center Management System).
● Role Synchronization
The system extracts the applications that you assigned to the users of a role during role editing. The extracted applications are transferred by the system to the tables that are used by the SAP MI Web Console. The visible result in the SAP MI Web Console is that new entries are added or existing entries are deleted.
● Saving and Restoring Application Files
So that you need not upload all the application files again individually after upgrading the SAP MI, you can use the following functions:
○ Before upgrading: Save the application files that are available in the SAP MI Web Console.
○ After upgrading: Restore the application files you saved.
You can call the SAP MI Web Console with Starting the SAP MI Web Console.
