Use

The data extracted from the transaction system is loaded into the ODS object OWS_O01 using the DataSource 0WS_DATA_1. Only transaction data is extracted. The DataSource works according to the delta principle – this means it transfers the transaction data of those questionnaires into SAP BW that were sent and answered again since the last extraction. The value-based comparison of data already extracted with new transferred data takes place with the help of the ODS object "Delta Extraction: Survey Results" (0WS_001).

For the transferred data records, the key figure 0WS_COUNT delivers the value 1 for every data record within a survey that can be formed from a recipient and a question. This means the sum formed within a survey using the key figure 0WS_COUNT corresponds to the number of answers within the survey that were returned by those questioned.

Note the following special feature when extracting questionnaire data if none of the options offered were selected in a radio button group (this situation occurs in HTML forms if none of the options offered were defined as standard and no option is selected by the person questioned). In such cases the extractor delivers the value " " (blank character). This is interpreted as follows within the Business Content delivered for the Web Survey:

The person questioned explicitly enters the answer "no answer to this question" in the question group.

This interpretation has an effect on the results that you receive in the delivered queries as the number of (not) answered questions.
