Connectivity
The ability of a software application to communicate with a wide range of different system environments demands a complex network of different technologies. For this reason, SAP has developed its classic R/3 system into a universal communication landscape, in which a multilateral exchange of data can take place between the ABAP environment, Java/J2EE applications and the latest Web technologies. The components SAP has developed for this purpose are grouped under the concept Connectivity.
