Device Maintenance 

Use

As administrator, you can manage and monitor mobile devices in the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Prerequisites

●      The mobile device has already synchronized once.

●      Before you can use the expert tool, you have to enable it (see Enabling the Use of the Expert Tool).

Activities

The function incorporates the following activities:

●      You can search for the mobile devices.

●      You can filter by mobile devices with errors, and then check these problems.

If you use Smart Synchronization, you can use the Expert Tool to access the monitoring tool from the administration toolkit.

●      You can assign device configurations to mobile devices. You can make these kind of assignments instead of assigning using hierarchies.

●      You can assign mobile components to mobile devices directly.

●      You can assign device names to mobile devices.

●      You can display the device’s configuration file.
