iView Configuration
This is an optional configuration procedure to configure the UWL iView display. Furthermore you can configure the UWL Substitution UI.

1. In the Portal Content Studio, choose:
Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® End User Content ® Standard Portal Users ® iViews ® com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.iviews ® Universal Worklist
2. Under Property Category choose UWL.
3. Configure the UWL iView properties shown in the following table.

Description |
Allow Searching |
Define whether the search input field should be displayed in the UWL table header or not. |
Depth of UWL Navigation tree |
Number of levels to display in the navigation tree. If set to 1, displays only the top level for all navigation types. Tab, link, and dropdown navigation styles only display two levels at most. |
Display Connection status |
Indicate whether connection status icon link should be displayed. Options: None - do not display at all. Show - display icon, but do not indicate any errors. ShowIndicateError - display warning icon when error occurs. |
Display Preview |
Flag to indicate whether preview panel is displayed or not with the UWL list view. Set the default for all users, this can also be personalized by the user. |

Change the default view of the UWL iView |
System Configuration Group |
Define the name of the group of backend systems to be accessed by this UWL iView. The backend systems for the group are defined with the procedure described in Register the SAP Systems, above. |
UWL Navigation Style |
Define the default navigation style to be used. This can be personalized by the user. |

3. Configure the UWL Substitution UI properties shown in the following table.

Description |
Disable Substitution Profiles |
Indicate whether substitution profiles are disabled. Default: No. This flag provides an option to hide substitution profiles from the end user. Exception: When creating a substitution rule the profile ALL is displayed. |
Disable turn on/off buttons |
Indicate whether turn on and turn off buttons are disabled. Default: No. This flag provides an option to hide the turn on/off column from the end user. |
Display Create/Delete buttons |
Indicate whether Create and Delete buttons are displayed or not. Default: Yes. This flag provides an option to hide Create Rule… and Delete buttons from the end user. |
Hide Rule Activation column |
Indicate whether the Rule Activation is hidden from the end user. Default: No. The Rule Activation column provides technical information on the substitution status for all the systems configured for the UWL iView. |
