Performance Optimization 
Purpose
Different functions support you in improving the performance of your BW system. A distinction can be made between database-, query and load performance.
In
addition to the functions listed here, some functions of the Reporting Agent
(such as precalculating the Web template, see

Settings, or precalculating characteristic variables of the type

Settings) and various functions in modeling data targets all affect
