Task Settings
To make visible only specific task types for the users, you can change configure the settings as following.

1. Navigate to System Administration ® System Configuration ® Universal Worklist and Workflow ® Workflow. Choose User Interface ® Configure Task Types.
2. Choose Edit and select the task types which you want to be launched from the UWL interface.
3. To save the configuration, select Ok.
To be consistent on the portal, you must change these settings from the Collaboration settings also.
Navigate to Content Administration ® Collaboration Content ® Collaboration Launch Pad Administration. Under Topics, select Command Group.

1. Select clpWorkflowGroup.
2. On the detail view, choose Edit. From the available list, select the task types as required to add or remove. The names for the task types are:
○ clpWorkflowTaskLink
This task type relates to the function Task
○ clpWorkflowCustomTaskLink
This task type relates to the function Task List
○ clpWorkflowFeedbackLink
This task type relates to the function Request for Feedback
○ clpWorkflowNominationLink
This task type relates to the function Request for Nomination
3. Choose Ok, when done.
4. Now, from the Command Group list, choose userWorkflowGroup.
Perform the above mentioned steps 3 and 4, as required.

Send Notification option is not available through the Collaboration Launch Pad.
The users can now see only those task types as selected in the above procedure.
1. Navigate to System Administration ® System Configuration ® Universal Worklist and Workflow ® Workflow. Choose User Interface ® Task Settings.
2. Select the task for which you want to change the settings. Choose Edit.
3. Choose Ok to save settings.

Time interval |
This is related to the time field option on the user interface. Select the time interval from the drop down selection. Defaults (not set) to thirty minutes. |
Days offset |
Number of days that will add to the current date for task completion. Defaults to seven days. |
Make sure that the correct time zone, country and language settings are assigned to the users. If these are not specified, the workflow uses the system default.

Using the defaults could lead to incorrect due date display in a workflow task dealing with users from different time zones and locales.

1. Navigate to User Administration ® Users.
2. Search for the user for whom you want to make the required changes. Choose edit.
3. Change the Language, Time Zone and Country parameters as appropriate.
When you launch a new task, the description field is changed as per your new settings.
