Parameters for Synchronization Using the Synchronization Service 

If you do not want to synchronize using the servlet in the J2EE but instead by means of the synchronization service (new configuration) and the monitors in the Mobile Administrator, you must configure the client accordingly.  You can use the following parameters to do this:

Parameters in MobileEngine.config

Parameters	Description
MobileEngine.Sync.Gateway.Service	Activation of the synchronization service. If this parameter is not set, synchronization takes place using the servlet. Possible values: <service name>, for example /sap/bc/MJC/mi_host Default: Not set
MI.Sync.ProtocolVersion	Protocol for the synchronization process. This parameter only has an effect if MobileEngine.Sync.Gateway.Service has been set. Possible values: <protocol name>, for example, 251500 Default: Not set
