To distribute data between different business systems, you need to create a replication model. At replication model level, you define which master data and transaction data is to be sent to which system. A replication model contains one or more outbound implementations, to which one or more business systems can be assigned as a recipient. SAP provides outbound implementations for all business objects that are integrated with MES.

The following figure explains the structure of a replication model:
